George W. Frutchey

George Frutchey, a pharmacist and banker, moved from Boonton, New Jersey, to Westfield in 1902. He graduated from New York College of Pharmacy and joined a retail drug business in Westfield. He was active with the Rotary Club, President of the Westfield Civic Association, and was on the Board of Trustees of Fairview Cemetery. He was an active member of the Mountainside Union Chapel. Mr. Frutchey was employed by the First Federal Savings and Loan and later was the Vice President of the National Bank of Westfield.
